Manuroute, the manufacturing network: producers
What a printer earns
Sliced jobs that match your machine and your materials, nothing else. You keep 95% of your price, held before you print and paid when the customer accepts.
At the margins below, 100 machine hours a month on the network make €199.00 to €297.00. The hours sold depend on demand in your class and country.
Three jobs, computed by our pricing engine
Producer price from the default rate card, your payout after the 5% fee, and your running costs: filament at its purchase price, the box, electricity and machine wear at €0.15 per hour.
| Job | Your price | Paid to you | Running costs | Margin | Per machine hour | Paid to a founding producer |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| PETG, 80 g, 4 h, class C2 | €12.25 | €11.64 | €3.70 | €7.94 | €1.99 | €12.25 |
| PA-CF, 150 g, 7 h, class C3 | €36.65 | €34.82 | €14.05 | €20.77 | €2.97 | €36.65 |
| ASA, 600 g, 26 h, class C3 | €96.53 | €91.70 | €22.90 | €68.80 | €2.65 | €96.53 |
Manual work per order (start, removal, photos, packing) is 15 to 25 minutes. You can add up to 40% to the rate card; the table uses none.
Founding producers
The first producers of the pilot pay no fee on their first 20 orders and keep a permanent badge. By invitation, while the pilot runs.
100%
of your price on your first 20 orders. The customer pays the same price either way.
From order 21 the producer fee is 5%, like everyone's.
What it takes
- Identity and payouts verified by Stripe Connect.
- One test print per machine, with the code we send you on the part and in the photo.
- 6 hours to accept or decline an offer, with the payout shown before you accept.
- Photos of the part on the plate, on a scale and in the box before it ships.
- New producers hold up to 3 active jobs.
- Orders up to €50.00 until your machine is verified; the limit grows with your history.
In producers' words
- “Make money with your printer”: jobs come to you, sliced, with the price already set.
- “You keep 95%”: 5% of your price is the whole fee, always on its own line.
- “Jobs that match your machine and your materials, nothing else”: offers come only for your class, nozzle and loaded materials.
What producers ask first
- Will I get paid?
- The customer pays before the job reaches you, and Stripe holds the money. The customer has 72 hours after delivery to accept; silence counts as acceptance. A new verified producer is paid 5 days later; the delay shrinks as you level up.
- What if a print fails?
- Every price carries a failure reserve of 2% to 6% of material and machine, by material. You declare the failure, the customer chooses another producer or a refund, and you pay nothing; the failure counts in your reliability score.
- What if the customer says the part is wrong?
- Your photos on the plate and on the scale are the evidence: a weight within 10% of the sliced grams supports you. Disputes have deadlines, and there are no physical returns.
- Where do the customers come from?
- From the network: people upload sliced files and the job is routed by class and material. You do not answer quote requests or chase replies.
The network page shows where producers are waiting and where verified nodes already work.
